CÀ MAU — Swiss technology firm JANZZ.technology has announced a significant investment of USD 300,000 to support the development of the labor market in Cà Mau province, southern Vietnam. This move aims to promote the digital transformation of human resource management and enhance the matching between job seekers and employers in the region.
Collaboration Between Local Authorities and JANZZ.technology
The announcement followed a working session between Mr. Ngô Vũ Thăng, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Cà Mau province, and representatives from JANZZ.technology. The meeting focused on strategies to develop human resources and establish a digital labor market system adapted to the province’s evolving economic landscape.
Mr. Ngô highlighted that after the recent administrative merger of Bạc Liêu and Cà Mau provinces, the combined population now exceeds 2.6 million, with approximately 70% belonging to the workforce. While abundant in unskilled labor, the province faces challenges concerning the supply-demand mismatch in the labor market and a scarcity of workers with formal qualifications, certifications, and relevant skills.
Current State and Challenges of the Labor Market in Cà Mau
In 2025, although Cà Mau has witnessed a recovery in labor quantity following socio-economic challenges, there remains a gap in workforce quality, particularly soft skills and digital competencies. The province’s economy is transitioning from traditional agriculture and aquaculture toward industrial and service sectors, necessitating a corresponding shift in the labor structure.
To address these challenges, provincial authorities are implementing a series of measures, including financial support programs, promoting employment in the private sector, and diversifying modalities of labor market transactions.
JANZZ.technology’s Integrated Labor Market Solution
During the meeting, Mr. Stefan Winzenried, Founder and CEO of JANZZ.technology, introduced the company’s pilot project titled “Integrated Labor Market Solution – JANZZilms.” This initiative is designed to modernize labor market operations by leveraging digital technology to connect job seekers with employers more efficiently and improve workforce management.
Mr. Winzenried emphasized JANZZ.technology’s commitment to supporting Cà Mau’s labor market development through comprehensive activities that focus on building an integrated digital platform. The company will invest USD 300,000 specifically to facilitate these efforts, aiming to enhance employment connections and align training programs with business needs.
Future Cooperation and Pilot Implementation
The Swiss firm expressed hope to receive strong support and cooperation from Cà Mau’s local government and relevant agencies. Such collaboration is considered essential to successfully implement the pilot project, which will serve as a foundation for scaling up modern labor market management models province-wide.
Additionally, the partnership looks forward to fostering international cooperation in high-quality human resource training, securing scholarships, and attracting programs that benefit local students, workers, and officials.
Provincial Authorities’ Vision for Sustainable Labor Market Development
The Vice Chairman reaffirmed Cà Mau province’s dedication to developing a sustainable and well-structured labor market that meets the growing demands of its transforming economy. This includes promoting vocational training that aligns with employer needs and continuously applying digital solutions to improve labor market transparency and efficiency.
This collaboration marks a milestone in the province’s efforts to integrate modern technology into labor market management and reflects growing foreign interest in supporting Vietnam’s regional economic development.
