Technology Firm Fixify to Create 50 Jobs in Cork
Fixify, an innovative technology company specializing in AI-driven IT support automation, has announced plans to establish its new European Union Centre of Excellence in Cork city. This strategic move will bring 50 new jobs to the region over the next 18 months, further bolstering Cork’s reputation as a thriving tech hub.
The new Cork facility will serve as a vital regional base for Fixify’s development, support, and customer success operations worldwide. The company is currently recruiting for a range of positions including IT Helpdesk Analysts, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists.

Caroline Coughlan, Director of Employee Experience and People Operations at Fixify, noted that the expansion is a “strong vote of confidence in Ireland’s technology talent and infrastructure.” She added that the company will be scaling its presence in Cork in parallel with delivering outstanding value to its customers throughout the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
The announcement was warmly welcomed by government officials. Taoiseach Micheál Martin stated that this investment “demonstrates a deep commitment to the region and creates 50 high-tech jobs in an exciting and growing sector.” He expressed confidence that these roles in IT, software engineering, and data analysis will boost the local workforce further and praised the support provided by IDA Ireland.
Peter Burke, the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, said Fixify’s decision to locate its EU Centre of Excellence in Cork “is a strong endorsement of Ireland’s position as a global leader in technology and innovation.” He highlighted that the investment would bring lasting benefits to the local digital ecosystem. Minister Burke also underscored Cork’s strengths, citing its rich talent pool supported by world-class institutions like University College Cork (UCC) and Munster Technological University (MTU), along with its history of attracting high-value foreign direct investment.
