Driving Innovation: Palantir and Lear Forge Five-Year Partnership to Revolutionize Automotive Technology

Palantir and Lear Expand Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Automotive Technology Transformation

Denver, June 2025 — Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: PLTR), a leader in artificial intelligence software, today announced a significant five-year expansion of its partnership with Lear Corporation (NYSE: LEA), a global leader in automotive seating and electronic systems (E-Systems). This renewed agreement will see Lear broaden the deployment of Palantir’s advanced platforms—including Palantir Foundry, Warp Speed manufacturing operating system, and the Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP)—across its worldwide manufacturing operations.

Enhancing Manufacturing and Operational Efficiency

Since initiating their collaboration in 2023, Palantir’s software solutions have been instrumental in transforming Lear’s manufacturing processes. Foundry and AIP currently enable Lear to proactively manage tariff exposures, automate administrative workflows, and dynamically balance manufacturing lines. These technologies create seamless connectivity across multiple departments, including quality control, supply chain management, procurement, manufacturing, finance, and design.

To date, over 11,000 Lear employees leverage Palantir’s platforms, driving efficiency, innovation, and operational agility throughout the company’s global operations.

Powering Lear’s IDEA Program

Palantir’s solutions have been pivotal to Lear’s Innovative, Digital, Engineered, and Automated (IDEA) program—a comprehensive initiative aimed at unifying Lear’s transformation efforts. The implementation of IDEA, powered by Palantir’s technology, has generated more than $30 million in savings in the first half of 2025 alone, with expected benefits projected to grow significantly in the coming months and years.

Lear President and CEO Ray Scott highlighted the importance of this collaboration, stating, “Palantir is a key component of our IDEA strategy to automate and streamline manufacturing processes and administrative functions across the company. This partnership strengthens Lear’s position as an automotive technology leader and remains essential to our supply chain and operations. We have already seen significant improvements in global efficiency, creating a more agile and adaptable Lear.”

Palantir CEO on the Future of Manufacturing

Palantir co-founder and CEO Alex Karp emphasized the transformative impact of their technology at Lear’s manufacturing floors: “We are proud to partner with Lear and showcase the very best of what Warp Speed and Palantir are capable of. Lear is improving the lives of its employees and developing the manufacturing plants of the future by deploying Palantir onto its production floors.”
