Winners of 2nd “Technology with Heart” Award to be Honoured on October 23 in Hà Nội
Hà Nội, October 22, 2025 — The eagerly anticipated award ceremony and exhibition for the 2nd Photo and Video Award “Technology with Heart” will take place in Hà Nội on October 23. This event is co-organised by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group to celebrate outstanding visual works that creatively showcase the positive impact of technology on society.
Since the launch of the award in February, the organising committee received an impressive total of 1,482 submissions, comprising 1,131 single photos, 229 photo series, and 122 videos from professional and amateur photographers, journalists, and filmmakers across the country. The panel of judges undertook rigorous evaluation rounds to finally select 32 exemplary entries for recognition.
The awarded works are divided into three categories:
- Photo Series: 11 prizes awarded, including one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and five consolation prizes.
- Single Photo: 10 prizes awarded, including one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and four consolation prizes.
- Video: 11 prizes awarded, including one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and five consolation prizes.
The winning submissions distinguish themselves by capturing unique perspectives on the influence of scientific and technological breakthroughs in everyday life. Through compelling and emotive storytelling using visual media, these works emphasize how technology serves not only as an indispensable tool in modern society but also as a bridge that connects people and spreads compassion. This reflects the core humanistic and artistic values that the VNA and Viettel intend to promote through this award.
In addition to the awards, a workshop was held in June to foster creativity and share insights among participants. This session encouraged fresh perspectives through the individual viewpoints of creators, inspiring a broader appreciation of technology’s role in enhancing life and spreading positive messages.
The 2nd “Technology with Heart” Award has successfully highlighted the synergy between technological advancement and human experience, reinforcing the narrative that technology embodies both innovation and empathy.
