Hanoi, February 6, 2026 — The Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam hosted an award ceremony in Hanoi on February 6 to honor outstanding achievements and events in science and technology and to present the 2025 Journalism Awards on Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation. Among the honored recipients, Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio & Television received the prestigious first prize for their exemplary contribution in the field of science and technology journalism.

Ceremony Brings Together Prominent Leaders

The award event featured distinguished guests including Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Comrade Bui Hoang Phuong, Alternate Member of the Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; as well as leaders from multiple central departments, ministries, and agencies. Their presence underscored the importance of science, technology, and innovation to Vietnam’s socio-economic growth.

The judging panel noted that many submissions reflected a deep understanding of topical issues, were meticulously researched, and presented innovative perspectives supporting development and solutions in science and technology.

Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio & Television earned the first prize in the online journalism category for their compelling series of articles titled “Bringing Numbers to Border Villages.” The team comprised Minh Tuyen, Tran Lien, Duy Tuan, and Vien Su. Their work distinguished itself for its impactful delivery, creative storytelling, and effectiveness in communicating complex scientific and technological topics to the public, thereby enhancing awareness and inspiration.
